Automated Straw Cleaning Conveyor System
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
Our eco friendly drinking straw-based plant is ready to shift from manual handling to an integrated, fully automated conveyor workflow. The system must receive raw reed stem straight from loader, then convey it through processing stations, and carry out inline quality-control and inspection before the material reaches downstream equipment.
Scope of work
• Engineering & Design – Provide complete 2D/3D CAD layouts, strength calculations, and a PLC/SCADA architecture that supports real-time monitoring, sensor feedback, sort and reject gates for non-conforming material.
• Fabrication – Build the conveyors, frames, guards, sensor mounts, and control panels to the approved drawings, using corrosion-resistant materials suitable for dusty, fibrous environments.
• Software & Integration – Program the PLC, HMI, and vision or laser sensors to manage speed synchronisation, jam detection, and automatic diversion for failed QC items.
• Installation & Commissioning – Deliver, erect, wire, and align the entire line on site, then run acceptance tests with live raw straw.
Acceptance criteria
1. Throughput meets or exceeds the design rate (specify during design freeze).
2. 100 % of product passes at least one inline inspection node; faulty material is automatically diverted.
3. System runs 8 h continuously with no unplanned stoppage during site acceptance test.
4. All mechanical, electrical, and safety documentation, PLC source code, and operator manuals are handed over on project close.
Please outline your proposed mechanical configuration, preferred PLC brand, anticipated lead time, and any previous experience with fibrous or agricultural materials so we can align on the next steps quickly.
