AutoCAD Product CAD Modeling

I’ve sketched out a new mechanical product and now need it translated into precise, production-ready 3D geometry. My own background is a Mechanical Production Diploma, so you’ll be collaborating with someone who understands tolerances, machining allowances, and the practical realities of shop-floor fabrication.

Your task is to build the full digital model in AutoCAD, refining the design for manufacturability while staying true to my functional specs. Expect an iterative process: I’ll provide hand sketches, reference photos, and dimensional constraints; you’ll return native .dwg files, exploded views, and clear dimensioned drawings that any CNC programmer or tool-room machinist can follow.

Deliverables
• Native AutoCAD 3D model and all associated 2D layouts
• Assembly and sub-assembly files with clear layer organization
• PDF/step exports for quick shop review
• Simple bill of materials cross-referenced to drawing callouts

Acceptance will be based on dimensional accuracy, clean feature history, and readiness for prototype machining. If you’re comfortable pushing AutoCAD’s solid-modeling tools to create parts that actually fit once cut, let’s get started.
