AutoCAD Cloth Knotter Design

Job ID: 40443086

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I have a clear concept for a mechanical cloth-knotting tool and now need it laid out professionally in AutoCAD. The device’s core purpose is to create consistent knots in multiple threads at once, so all geometry, tolerances and part interfaces have to accommodate true multi-thread handling without tangling or mis-feeds.

Your job is to translate my sketches and notes into a complete digital package: a fully detailed 3D model, clean 2D fabrication drawings with dimensions and tolerances, and a short animation or exploded view that illustrates the knotting sequence. If you prefer to prepare the solid model in another package first (e.g., SolidWorks or Inventor) and then deliver the final DWG/DXF set, that’s fine as long as the AutoCAD output is flawless.

Deliverables
• Parametric 3D model of the cloth-knotting tool
• Manufacturing drawings (assembly & individual parts, DWG/DXF + PDF)
• Exploded view or simple motion study showing the knotting cycle

Acceptance criteria
1. Mechanism must demonstrate smooth, repeatable knot formation with at least two threads in simulation.
2. All parts dimensioned for standard machining; no undefined features.
3. Files open natively in AutoCAD 2020 or later without errors.

I’ll provide initial sketches, usage workflow and thread specifications as soon as we start. Let me know if any additional details are needed before we commit to milestones—accuracy on the first pass will save us both time.
