Specialty Coffee Vending Machine Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Hello,
We have completely redesigned the machine concept and working methodology. The new approach is aligned with a regular bean-to-cup coffee vending machine, upgraded for specialty coffee output with dual ordering capability (two drinks simultaneously) using two displays and two side-by-side cup dispensing stations.
The system has been simplified significantly by removing CNC/gantry, conveyor, and robotic mechanisms, and is now based on a static modular architecture with pump + pipe-based fluid delivery.
---
UPDATED SYSTEM OVERVIEW:
• Dual cup dispensing system (left & right)
• Two independent serving positions for parallel output
• Two user interfaces (dual ordering screens)
• Centralized internal modules:
- Coffee grinder + automatic brew group (piston-based with waste ejection)
- Milk tank + heating + frothing system
- Water system
• Fluid delivery:
Tank → Pump → Valve → Pipe → Cup (for both lines)
---
WORKFLOW:
• Dual cup dispensing
• Grinding → brewing (automatic brew group cycle)
• Coffee delivered via piping
• Milk heating & frothing
• Milk dispensed via piping
• Final output at respective station
---
SCOPE — INCLUDED (IMPORTANT):
2D Engineering Drawings:
- Top, front, and side views with dimensions
- Sectional view showing internal layout
3D CAD Model:
- Complete machine assembly
- Dual cup system
- Internal module placement
Mechanical Design (Basic to Intermediate Level):
- Brew group integration (not redesign from scratch, but proper placement and mechanism understanding)
- Cup dispensing mechanism concept
- Structural layout and mounting approach
Fabrication-Level Drawings (Basic):
- General fabrication drawings for structure and paneling
- Not ultra-detailed production drawings, but build-understanding level
Electrical & Control Architecture (Concept Level):
- Basic control logic flow
- System architecture (PLC/microcontroller level)
- No detailed wiring diagrams required
BOM (Basic/Indicative):
- Major components list:
- pumps
- valves
- grinder
- brew group
- tanks
- No vendor-level deep sourcing required
Fluid System Design (Concept Level):
- Pipe routing
- Pump placement
- Flow direction
- No detailed pressure/thermal calculations required
---
CLEAR LIMITATIONS (TO CONTROL SCOPE):
• No highly detailed component-level mechanical drawings
• No full electrical schematics or panel wiring
• No advanced simulations (thermal/pressure)
• No prototype manufacturing support
---
EXPECTATION:
The output should be:
• Practical and manufacturable
• Clear for next-stage engineering
• Well-structured and modular
• Suitable for vendor discussion and prototype planning
---
Considering the major simplification in machine architecture and reduced mechanical complexity, I request you to kindly re-evaluate and provide a revised quotation based on this updated scope.
Happy to walk you through the updated design if needed.
