1U Server Chassis 3D Modeling

Job ID: 40623344

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m building a custom 1U rack-mount server enclosure and need a SolidWorks-ready 3D model that nails both the mechanical layout and front-panel aesthetics. You will start from my sketches, component STEP files, and dimensional constraints, then turn them into a clean, fully parametric assembly.

The main focus is accurate mechanical design—mounting points for motherboard, PSU, drives, and fans—while refining the external look so the chassis presents well in a data-center rack. Space efficiency, airflow paths, and sheet-metal manufacturability all matter.

Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks assembly and part files, properly organized and named
• STEP export suitable for supplier quoting
• 2D manufacturing drawings with bend notes, hole sizes, and tolerances
• A few high-quality renders of the finished chassis for presentation

Acceptance criteria
• Fits within standard 1U (44.45 mm) height and 19-inch rack width
• All mounting holes on common server hardware patterns
• Sheet-metal parts adhere to realistic bend radii and K-factors
• Front panel matches my branding sketch and port layout

I’ll review, comment, and request tweaks until the model is ready for fabrication. Looking forward to working together on a chassis that’s as functional as it is good-looking.
