We are developing a next-generation kitchenware product that combines modern design with innovative collapsible functionality. The product must maintain a traditional aesthetic while incorporating mechanical and functional innovation.
We are looking for a highly skilled industrial designer or mechanical design engineer who can take a concept from design to a functional 3D model, ready for prototyping. This is not a simple product — it will include custom mechanical systems, specific materials, and unique usability features.
You should have experience in:
- Product design for consumer kitchen goods
- Creating collapsible/folding mechanisms
- Engineering internal locking systems
- Working with materials like glass-like polymers and food-safe silicones
- Designing for injection molding or mass manufacturing
- CAD modeling (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent)
Bonus:
- Experience designing collapsible or compactable products
- Experience with integrating electronics
- Worked on glass-like projects before
