Monobloc Chemical Filler Capper Design

Job ID: 40259541

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I want a compact monobloc system that can both fill and cap plastic bottles containing chemicals in the 500 ml – 1 L range. The concept must address the special requirements of chemical compatibility, splash-free dosing, and reliable torque control on caps, all inside one synchronized rotary or linear frame.

Scope of work
• Develop the complete mechanical design: filler turret, precision metering system, cap pick-and-place or pick-off module, star wheels or pucks for bottle transfer, safety guarding, and basic frame layout.
• Size pumps, seals, gaskets, and wetted parts for aggressive chemical resistance (stainless 316L, PTFE, or equivalent).
• Produce full 3-D CAD files ready for manufacturing plus dimensioned fabrication drawings, exploded BOM, and a general arrangement drawing.
• Include a brief controls overview showing sensor points and actuators; PLC ladder or code is not required at this stage—just I/O mapping and panel layout suggestions.
• Provide throughput calculations for at least one speed scenario (e.g., bottles per minute) and show how change parts would be handled for different bottle heights within the 500 ml-1 L window.
• Indicate recommended cleaning/flush procedure to prevent cross-contamination and corrosion.

Acceptance criteria
1. All drawings open natively in SolidWorks or STEP without errors.
2. Tolerances, material specs, and fastener sizes are called out on each drawing.
3. The assembly can theoretically achieve the stated throughput without bottle collisions or cap misalignment when simulated.
4. Chemical-contact components are documented with compatible material certifications.

Any past examples of fillers, cappers, or monoblocs you have designed will help me gauge fit, but the deliverables above are what I need to sign off the project.
