Mechanical Random Vibration Failure Analysis
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
I need a thorough random‐vibration study on a mechanical system with the sole aim of pinpointing where it is most likely to fail. You will start by translating my load spectra into an appropriate PSD, run the analysis, and then interpret the stress and displacement responses to highlight critical hot spots. I expect clear plots, supporting calculations, and a concise engineering report that spells out the predicted failure points and practical design improvements.
Finite-element software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran is fine as long as the solver can handle random vibration and produce fatigue-relevant outputs. Please document the material properties, boundary conditions, and damping assumptions you use so I can reproduce the results later if needed.
Deliverables
• Native model files and post-processing scripts
• PDF report with methodology, PSD input, results, and recommendations
• Short call or written summary walking me through the findings
Accuracy and traceability matter more than glossy formatting, so keep every step reproducible and unit-consistent. Let me know which toolset you prefer and an estimated turnaround once you see the model size.
