Mechanical Product Design AutoCAD Drafting

I need a detailed mechanical drawing in AutoCAD that can move my new product concept from rough sketch to an accurate, production-ready file set. The focus is product design, so every view, dimension, tolerance, and material note must be clear enough for downstream engineering and tooling teams to pick up without additional clarification.

3D modeling is part of the brief. After the 2D layout is locked, I’ll require a full 3D model that aligns perfectly with the drawing—no approximations. Native DWG for the 2D work and a compatible 3D format (STEP or native AutoCAD 3D) will form the core deliverables, along with a clean PDF export for quick reviews.

My hand sketches and reference photos are ready to share as soon as we start. I’m also open to a quick call or screen-share if you prefer to walk through the geometry live before drafting. Accuracy and design intent matter more than flashy renders; keep the file structure organized and the layer naming sensible so future edits stay painless.

Please include a short note on your typical turnaround for first drafts and the software version you’ll be using—AutoCAD Mechanical 2022 or newer is ideal.
