I want to sharpen my mechanical-product design skills through hands-on sessions that focus on SolidWorks, with occasional comparisons to CATIA V5 and AutoCAD when it helps illustrate best practice. The goal is to guide me from concept to a print-ready model on a real reverse-engineering case so that, by the end, I can confidently create my own parts and assemblies without supervision.

What I need from you
• A structured yet flexible learning path covering part, assembly and drawing workflows in SolidWorks, including surfacing and photorealistic rendering steps.
• Live walkthrough of a small reverse-engineering project: measuring an existing part, rebuilding it digitally, checking tolerances ±0.1 mm, and exporting files suitable for additive manufacturing.
• Advice on material selection for FDM and SLA printing and how that influences wall thickness, support strategy and tolerances.
• Delivery of the finished model in at least one standard format (.STEP, .IGES or .STL) along with the native SolidWorks file so I can revisit your feature tree later.

How we’ll work
We can meet over screen-share for short, intensive sessions, then you’ll leave me exercises to complete before the next call. I’ll time-box the entire engagement so we stay on schedule, and I expect the same respect for deadlines from your side.

Acceptance
I’ll consider the job done when I can independently rebuild the test part, achieve the agreed dimensional accuracy in the final print, and understand how to tweak rendering settings for a client-ready image.
