Kinematic Cylinder Mechanism Design

Job ID: 39796589

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

Development of a kinematic mechanism featuring two concentric cylinders, the outermost one 3mm thick and the inner one 1mm thick. This mechanism includes a cam on the inner part of the outer cylinder, allowing the inner cylinder to rise by 2.5 cm as the outer cylinder rotates. Both cylinders measure 3.5 cm. Furthermore, the outer cylinder meshes with an outer ring with a diameter of 69 cm, which is rotated to impart rotary motion to the outer cylinder. Furthermore, in the upper part of the cylinders, there is an iris diaphragm that is opened by a 20-degree rotation of the outer ring, which meshes with the diaphragm at the top via small teeth, opening it through rotation. Essentially, by rotating the outer ring, the outer cylinder first opens the iris diaphragm and then lifts the inner cylinder. 2D drawings and cross-sections of the concept with dimensions are available. The step model, already available, must be completed by inserting the gears and the spiral cam. Time available: one week.
