Full Mechanical and Electrical Power Design,Simulation of the Smart Self Powered IOT Streetlight Poles

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

It is a streetlight pole looking tower whereby it will be able to generate its own power by hybrid of solar panels on its top dome and wind turbine at the centre of the top dome for various user modules consumption and power supply to the nearby household.

The pole will have a dome at the top of the pole which will house all the applications hardwares as per uses below:

1. Generate power using both solar and wind turbine sources and storage facility
2. Provide smart street lighting to its surrounding
3. Provide power to all application service modules on the pole
4. Provide AC power to the nearby domestic house
5. Provide charging services on the bottom of the pole for e-bikes and e-cars
6. Able to house and process various data collection sensors
7. Etc
The poles should be of three types:

1. Type A:6meter high
2. Type B: 8meters high
3. Type C:12meters high

The main mechanical parts of the pole are:
1. MAST : heights:6m,8m and 12m
2. DOME (BODY SHELL/BALOON) : This is at the top of the pole which stores all hardware units for uses
3. BATTERY BANK : To be Buried underground and contains large number of Lithium batteries just beside the pole ground hole
4. WIND TURBINE : Be made at the centre of dome’s empty space of the centre axis
5. SOLAR PANELS : Come with the dome, installed at the top of the dome on circular from around the balloon dome.

Scope of the Design:

1. Calculate all electrical solar and turbine parameters and materials quantities for poles Type A to give power 5kW,Type B 15kW and Type C 48kW
2. Design all electrical power system from power generation, storage and distribution to users for all three pole types
3. Design ALL Mechanical parts these are Masts, Dome/Balloon,Battery Bank Enclosure, Wind Turbine,Solar Panel on the balloon Dome as a result of power output calculated (no.1&2) above for all three types of poles

NB: At each requirement I will provide targeted specific technical requirements/specifications and parameters and sample photos and links needed from the user perspective
