Design of Pneumatic Engine Mechanism in SolidWorks (3D CAD Model & Assembly)
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Design of Pneumatic Engine Mechanism in SolidWorks (3D CAD Model & Assembly)
I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer/SolidWorks Designer to create a complete 3D CAD model and assembly of a Pneumatic Engine mechanism.
The concept consists of a compressed air-powered reciprocating system where compressed air from an air chamber/tank is supplied through a solenoid valve to a pneumatic cylinder. The piston motion is transferred through a connecting rod to a crankshaft, converting linear motion into rotary motion.
*Scope of Work:*
1. Design the complete mechanism in SolidWorks.
2. Create individual 3D part models for:
* Pneumatic cylinder
* Piston and piston rod
* Connecting rod
* Crankshaft
* Flywheel
* Solenoid valve (simplified representation)
* Air chamber/tank (simplified representation)
* Mounting frame/base structure
* Bearings and shaft supports
3. Create a fully constrained assembly.
4. Verify proper motion of the mechanism.
5. Provide an animation or motion study demonstrating the working principle.
6. Generate manufacturing drawings with dimensions for all custom parts.
7. Suggest suitable materials and standard components where applicable.
*Deliverables Required:*
* SolidWorks Part Files (.SLDPRT)
* SolidWorks Assembly Files (.SLDASM)
* Motion Study/Animation
* 2D Manufacturing Drawings (.SLDDRW)
* STEP Files (.STEP)
* PDF Drawings
*Design Requirements:*
* Compact educational/project-scale design.
* Easy to manufacture using conventional workshop processes.
* Proper alignment of crankshaft, connecting rod, and piston mechanism.
* Provision for mounting pneumatic components.
* Clean and professional CAD modeling practices.
*Designer Requirements:*
* Strong experience in Mechanical Design.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks.
* Experience with pneumatic systems is preferred.
* Ability to provide revisions if required.
Please share:
* Relevant portfolio/projects.
* Estimated completion time.
* Fixed-price quotation.
I am open to design improvements and recommendations from the designer.
