Custom Motorcycle Headlight Cradle
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m looking for a custom headlight mounting cradle for my 2011 Suzuki GS500 (standard/naked) motorcycle to mount a STEDI 7” LED headlight while retaining the original Suzuki headlight bucket, chrome retaining ring and OEM beam adjustment mechanism.
Requirements:
• OEM-style hidden cradle using the original GS500 bucket and chrome retaining ring.
• Two-piece design consisting of a front cradle and rear carrier/clamp.
• No visible fasteners or brackets from the front of the motorcycle.
• Secure, precision fit suitable for CNC machining.
• Hybrid material preferred: polished stainless steel front cradle and black anodised aluminium rear carrier (open to recommendations).
• Final deliverables to include editable CAD files, STEP files and manufacturing drawings.

• Mechanical/product design experience.
• Experience designing CNC-machined components.
• Experience with custom motorcycle parts is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of tolerances, manufacturability and OEM-style design.

I can provide the OEM headlight, bucket and retaining ring, the STEDI headlight, reference photos and accurate measurements. The goal is not simply to adapt the headlight, but to create a solution that looks and feels like a factory-installed component.
