I’m working through a finite-element analysis exercise in ANSYS Workbench and need support building and refining a simple shelf model made of aluminum. I already have the exact dimensions and load cases ready to share once we start, so you’ll be able to jump straight into geometry creation, meshing, boundary condition setup and iterative property tweaks to maximize structural integrity (stress, deflection and safety factor).

Here’s what I expect:
• A fully set-up ANSYS Workbench project file with the aluminum material assigned, mesh settings justified, and at least two design iterations that show measurable improvement.
• A concise PDF or Word memo summarising your approach, the key results (von Mises stress, maximum displacement, factor of safety) and a short recommendation on the optimal configuration.
