PV Systems Grid Support Simulation Development
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Project Title:
Flexible Control of PV Systems for Grid Support using Adaptive Perturb and Observe (P&O) MPPT and Optimized Droop Control Techniques
Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced MATLAB/Simulink developer with strong knowledge of renewable energy systems, grid integration, and advanced control techniques to create a simulation model for a photovoltaic (PV) system.
The simulation should focus on flexible grid support, integrating:
1. Adaptive Perturb and Observe (P&O) MPPT algorithm for maximum power extraction from PV arrays.
2. Grid Synchronization with precise control of power factor (PF).
3. Optimized Droop Control Methods for both P–f (active power–frequency) and Q–V (reactive power–voltage) control to ensure stable and efficient grid support.
Requirements:
MATLAB Simulink model of a grid-connected PV system.
Implementation of Adaptive P&O MPPT (not standard fixed-step P&O — must be adaptive for varying conditions).
Integration of grid synchronization block/method for seamless connection to the grid.
Droop control strategies for:
P-F control & Q–V (Reactive Power–Voltage) control
The model must be well-structured, easy to follow, and with clear documentation/annotations for all blocks.
Must meet stability and performance criteria under varying load and irradiance conditions.
Additional Information:
A detailed PDF document with project requirements, control algorithms, and reference material will be provided after project acceptance.
This project is the first in a series — future projects will be awarded to the same freelancer if the work is satisfactory and demonstrates good technical knowledge.
Skills Required:
MATLAB & Simulink (Power Systems, Renewable Energy)
MPPT control algorithms (especially Adaptive P&O)
Power electronics & inverter control
Grid synchronization methods
Droop control for P-F and Q–V regulation
Deliverables:
Complete MATLAB Simulink model file (.slx)
Clear block-by-block explanation and brief report of the system
Test results for different irradiance, load, and grid conditions
If you have hands-on experience with PV systems and advanced grid control techniques, and can deliver clear, tested, and well-documented work, we’d love to work with you.
Ready to work with us for future as well..!
