Structural FEM via MATLAB & ANSYS

Job ID: 39938792

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m looking for a specialist who can run a structural Finite Element Method study in both MATLAB and ANSYS and give me a clear, side-by-side comparison of the results.

Scope
• Build the structural model from the data I’ll provide (geometry, loads, boundary conditions, and material properties).
• Develop well-commented MATLAB scripts that set up the mesh, apply the loads, solve, and post-process key metrics such as displacement and Von Mises stress.
• Recreate the same setup in ANSYS, documenting each step so it can be reproduced.
• Deliver a concise report summarizing assumptions, convergence checks, plots, and a brief discussion of any discrepancies between the two platforms.

Deliverables
1. MATLAB code files (.m) with clear comments.
2. ANSYS workbench project or APDL files.
3. PDF report with screenshots, graphs, and conclusions.
4. Short read-me explaining how to run everything.

When you respond, focus on your relevant structural FEM experience—especially projects where you have used both MATLAB and ANSYS—to help me gauge your fit quickly.
