I need a clean, well-documented Simulink file that captures the dynamics of a single-degree-of-freedom spring–mass–damper system under forced vibration. The model must include:

• A non-zero damping term exactly as stated in my brief (“the response should be non zero”), so the solution shows realistic decay rather than ideal undamped motion.
• An external excitation modelled as a constant force acting on the mass.

Please organise parameters (mass, stiffness, damping coefficient, force magnitude) in a single mask or workspace script so I can change them quickly, and label all scopes and block outputs clearly.

Deliverables:
1. The .slx file, ready to run in the current release of MATLAB/Simulink.
2. A short note (PDF or plain text) explaining block choices, equations implemented, and how to adjust key parameters.
