Power System Design in MATLAB
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a power-system design and analysis assignment that must be carried out entirely in MATLAB/Simulink. The goal is to turn my existing single-line diagram and preliminary calculations into a fully working model, then run the key studies — load-flow, fault, and basic stability — that will guide our final equipment selection and protection settings.
You will work with the data I provide (equipment ratings, line impedances, load schedules) and build a clean, well-organised Simulink file. Alongside the model I also need a short technical note summarising assumptions, parameter values, and the main results so I can include them in a client report.
Deliverables
• Simulink model (.slx) with clear subsystem labelling
• A PDF or Word report (3–5 pages) covering methodology, plots, and recommendations
• Calculation sheets or scripts for any supporting MATLAB code
Acceptance criteria
• Model runs without errors on MATLAB R2023a or later
• Numerical results match supplied benchmark cases within ±2 %
• Documentation is concise and fully reproducible by a third party
