MATLAB | Simulink | Electrical Harmonic distortion elimination using Filters
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
THE GOAL: compare the performance of different types of filters on eliminating harmonic distortions from 3-phase high electrical signal. The simulations will be performed in Simulink/MATLAB.
HOW TO DO: electrical power will be generated as a source and distortion (noise) will be fed to this source. Afterwards, following filters will be placed to eliminate distortion. The goal of the project is to observe how each filter react/perform on each kind of distorted input signal.
FILTERS (available in simulink library):
1. Second Order Generalized İntegrators
2. Kalman filter
3. Least square mean
4. Fourier Transform
5. Wavelet filter (DWT)
