MATLAB Bidirectional DC-DC Converter Simulation

Job ID: 40316876

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I need a complete MATLAB/Simulink implementation of a bidirectional DC-DC converter that demonstrates both buck and boost operation. The heart of the job is rock-solid PI-based voltage-and-current control, so the model must prove excellent controller performance under sudden load changes; please capture the transient response thoroughly in your scopes.

Scope of work
• Develop a clean, well-labeled Simulink model that outputs voltage, current and ripple waveforms for both power-flow directions.
• Tune and document PI controllers so that output voltage stays within regulation limits while battery current tracks its reference smoothly. Show the math: include a beginner-friendly Word report with the small-signal model and step-by-step derivation of Kp and Ki.
• Run an efficiency study at representative high switching frequencies (exact values to be finalised once I share the converter specs). Present the data in clear graphs or tables and discuss the trend.
• Supply all simulation files, plots and the explanatory report; everything must be original, easy to follow and ready for me to rerun.

Please annotate every block, use logical naming conventions, and keep the documentation concise yet instructive so a newcomer can replicate the process.
