MATLAB AEB System Model

Job ID: 39857645

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I need a complete MATLAB/Simulink implementation of an Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system delivered as soon as possible. The work must cover three tightly-linked areas: camera-based collision detection, the brake control logic that decides when and how hard to intervene, and an end-to-end simulation environment where I can stress-test the design under varied driving scenarios.

Collision Detection
The model should rely only on a forward-facing camera. Feel free to draw on Computer Vision Toolbox, Automated Driving Toolbox, or your own image–processing code, but the output I expect is a reliable time-to-collision or distance estimate that feeds straight into the controller.

Brake Control Algorithms
Build a Simulink (or Stateflow) controller that converts the collision metrics into braking commands. I’d like to see at least basic filtering for false positives, a graded braking profile, and tunable parameters so I can experiment with aggressiveness and comfort trade-offs.

System Simulation & Testing
Create a test bench inside Simulink that lets me run synthetic drive cycles, adjust vehicle speed, road friction and obstacle behaviour, then log performance metrics—trigger times, residual speed, and stopping distance. Include a handful of ready-to-run scenarios so I can verify everything immediately.

Deliverables
• Simulink model(s) for detection, control, and full-system integration
• Supporting MATLAB scripts or functions
• At least three documented test scenarios with results plots
• A brief read-me explaining how to open, run, and tune the project

I am aiming to review an initial version within the first few days, iterate quickly, and reach a polished, reproducible model shortly after. If you have existing camera-based AEB assets or prior experience with Automated Driving Toolbox, mention it—speed is critical.

I am uploading a paper I want to replicate the same in modelling.
