Hydrogen HRES–Gas Turbine Simulink Model

Job ID: 40199040

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a complete MATLAB / Simulink implementation that couples a Hydrogen-based Hybrid Renewable Energy System to a gas-turbine power plant. The model must reflect university-level thermodynamics and clearly show how hydrogen production, storage, and re-utilisation influence overall performance.

The electrochemical leg is to be represented by an electrolyzer, while the turbomachinery side centres on the gas turbine. Please include a dedicated hydrogen line, tune a PID loop for the turbine speed or power output, and devise a rule-based controller that coordinates the HRES cycle under varying load and renewable input conditions.

To keep the work verifiable and reusable I will need:
• the fully annotated Simulink file with masked subsystems for each block (gas turbine, electrolyzer, hydrogen line, controllers)
• a short technical note or PDF that walks through the thermodynamic assumptions, governing equations, controller logic, and any lookup tables you employ
• screenshots or scopes demonstrating stable operation under at least two transient scenarios (e.g., load step and renewable fluctuation)

Please attach examples of past, similar Simulink or thermodynamic modelling projects so I can assess fit.

I am ready to clarify any grey areas quickly so you can focus on building a robust, well-documented model.
