Job ID: 39788875

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

READ THE TERM PAPER ATTACHED AND NO AI USAGE IS ALLOWED TO WRITE CODE

I need a freelancer with strong experience in EEG signal processing, machine learning, and MATLAB/Python to complete a term-paper style project based on three brain-machine interface experiments. The work involves analyzing provided EEG datasets, training classification models, decoding results, and writing a structured report.

Tasks:

P300 Speller (20 pts)

Analyze P300data.mat (training + testing datasets).

Train a classifier to detect infrequent responses.

Apply it on the testing dataset and decode the spelled words from the Donchin matrix.

Report results (figures, tables, scripts).

Motor Imagery (20 pts)

Analyze MIdata.mat with 26-channel EEG.

Train a multi-class model for 4-class motor imagery (left hand, right hand, both hands, feet).

Predict labels for unlabeled trials.

Provide methods, results, and reflections.

Steady-State Visual Evoked Potentials (20 pts)

Analyze SSVEP.mat EEG dataset.

Detect whether the subject was looking at the “yes” (slow flicker) or “no” (fast flicker) square in each trial.

Report the sequence of given answers.

Requirements:

Deliver a report with introduction, methods, results, discussion, and appendix with code.

Include figures, tables, and scripts used for analysis.

Reflect on challenges, solutions, and connections to BCI concepts.

Code should be reproducible in MATLAB or Python.

Skills Needed:

EEG data preprocessing (filtering, epoching, feature extraction).

Machine learning/classification (e.g., LDA, SVM, CSP, spectral methods).

MATLAB or Python (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, MNE).

Academic-style scientific writing.

Deliverables:

Final report (Word/PDF) with analysis and discussion.

Code scripts (MATLAB/Python) in appendix.
