Downscale satellite image using area-to-point regression kriging in Matlab
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
The task is to downscale a coarse resolution (cr) satellite image using 1 fine resolution (fr) ancillary variable (target image) with area-to-point regression kriging (atprk).
The code exists in Matlab but one needs to have solid theoretical background in:
1) geostatistics and kriging,
2) remote sensing.
Attached there are few papers that uses atprk to downscale satellite images as well as the website to the Matlab code. At the end of the project the code and the downscaled image should be given to the author.
