Circuit Simulation in MATLAB & PLECS
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m looking for a hands-on electronics specialist who can build a detailed circuit simulation and modelling package using both MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS. The focus is circuit design, so component sizing, switching behaviour, losses and overall efficiency must be captured accurately.
What I need from you
• A fully runnable MATLAB/Simulink model and an equivalent PLECS schematic that mirror one another.
• Clean, annotated code and schematics so I can tweak parameters later.
• Key plots—voltage, current, FFT and an efficiency curve—exported as high-resolution images.
• A concise 3–5 page technical essay explaining your methodology, equations used, assumptions and results. A clear English version is essential; feel free to include an additional language if you wish to showcase a translation.
Acceptance criteria
- Models open and run error-free on MATLAB R2020b (or later) and PLECS 4.x.
- Simulation results align with standard theoretical expectations or any reference data we agree on.
- Essay is well-structured, references formulas correctly and links each major result to a plot in the appendix.
Timeline
First runnable draft within one week, followed by two rounds of refinement based on my feedback.
If you have a solid grasp of power-electronic circuit behaviour, confidence in MATLAB and PLECS, and can present your findings clearly in writing, I’d love to collaborate.
