Project Description: Soccer Computer Vision

- Purpose of the player tracking system:
- Broadcast enhancement
- Type of video footage the system will be processing:
- Live matches

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong computer vision expertise, particularly in player tracking algorithms
- Experience in working with live video streams and real-time processing
- Knowledge of soccer game dynamics and understanding of broadcast enhancement techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Matlab for implementing the computer vision system
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize the system's performance for real-time processing
- Familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks, such as OpenCV or TensorFlow, for computer vision tasks.


I have 3 cameras in a football field. With the first camera I have what the people is watching from the TV and 2 cameras more (1 for each half of the field). I would like:

1. Detect and track all players
2. Identify players
3. Identify team
4. Identify ball
5. Get statistics like possession, km covered by the ball, km covered by each players...etc

This is a real time application
