preparing data in MatLab for synchronisation

I have data from two sensors, sensor 1, collected the data for all 17 tests in one file and sensor 2 saved the data in 17 files for 17 tests. I would need help getting the testing data in 17 files to be joined in one file in MatLab. That way I would have 2 files and I will be able to synchronise both files by the time of the specific test.
