Wheel torque and rpm measurement using analytical and simulation methods

Job ID: 32608010

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Objective: It is required to measure the torque and rpm of wheels of SUV class of vehicles using simulation tool

Methodology: Consider any SUV weighing 1800 to 2000 kgs
Load on each wheel: 500 kgs
Engine: 2000 cc
Max Torque: 350 Nm at 1800 to 2500 rpm
Max Power: 125 kW at 3750 rpm
Tire size: 235/65R17

Wheel assembly of the above mentioned size to be modelled in Solidworks. Tire tread should be as per All Terrain tire. The assembly should include tread, sidewalls, bead, carcass, belts and rim. Suitable materials to be applied accordingly.
Engine Power - Torque- RPM chart of relevant class of vehicle to be referred for calculating engine torque at given rpm
The simulation tool may be Ansys/Abaqus/Simulink (MATLAB).

The same to be demonstrated analytically with both the results matching

Deliverables: An executable / implementation model is required to be handed over.
