Stabilizing an Electric Grid Using Fuzzy Logic

Job ID: 38713035

Budget: $299 – $300 USD

Objective: Implement the stabilization of a simple electrical grid in Simulink using fuzzy logic.

Simple electrical grid model:

1. Voltage source: AC or DC.

2. Load: Resistance or motor.

3. Transmission line: Modeled using an inductor and resistor in series.

4. Sensors: To measure voltage, current, or frequency.

Stabilization:

The goal is to stabilize voltage, frequency, or reactive power in response to disturbances.

Using fuzzy logic:

Implement a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC).

The FLC will take inputs such as voltage/frequency variations and output adjustments to a voltage or frequency regulator.

Create fuzzy rules to control the network's parameters.

Example:

Stabilize the voltage by measuring the deviation from a reference voltage and adjusting a voltage regulator through the FLC.
