Solar Power Simulation Using MATLAB
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking for a MATLAB expert to simulate a solar cell system that generates 20 kW of electricity for a small house during sunny days. The simulation should cover:
- Electricity Generation and Storage: The system needs to simulate the generation of electricity from solar cells, along with the storage in batteries for use when the sun isn't shining.
- Transition Between Power Sources: During nighttime or periods of no sun, a generator should kick in. The model needs to seamlessly transition between these power sources.
- Battery Backup System: A simple charge/discharge cycle for the battery backup system is required. The battery's role is to provide power if both the generator and solar cells are down.
This project doesn't require a specific solar cell model, so flexibility and creativity in model selection would be appreciated. Ideal freelancers for this project would have a strong background in MATLAB and experience in energy systems simulations. Please provide examples of similar projects you have completed.
