Simulation and Modeling of Mechanical Vibrations -- 2
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Objective:
The objective of this project is to study and simulate a mechanical system that illustrates the concepts covered in both the Newtonian and Lagrangian mechanics and Mechanical Vibrations sections of the course. The project aims to apply theoretical knowledge to a practical scenario, with a focus on simulating the system using Matlab and Simulink.
Current Progress:
For the second part of the assignment, I already have a partially completed system. This system includes a set of mechanical vibrations that I have modeled based on examples provided in Section 5 of the "Mechanical Vibration.pdf" document. These examples have guided the initial setup and parameter selection for my simulation.
Project Approach:
Simulation: I have used realistic parameters for the simulation, ensuring that the results are as accurate and reflective of real-world scenarios as possible.
Analysis: The analysis will focus on comparing the simulation results with theoretical predictions, discussing the realism and potential limitations.
References: I have based my study on multiple publications, and I will provide these references in the final report to substantiate the methodologies used.
Next Steps:
I plan to finalize the simulation, refine the model where necessary, and prepare a detailed report. The final deliverables will include a report, a 15-minute video presentation explaining the project,
