Reproduce MATLAB code based on publication and existing script

I would like to reproduce this code:

This code is currently given in the supplementary software section as a 3 channel unmixing code, I would like for someone with expertise to reverse engineer this to do what the authors claim it can do up to N channels.
Their code is contained in a .p file, which means it is not accessible. You would need to follow the math in the publication and also use the existing limited code to see how the authors have been able to achieve this.
Patents are in place for this work, so perhaps those patents would also give some clues.
