Optimization Algorithm Analysis in Matlab
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a project involving the analysis of 80 test functions with different initial points and dimensions, by using 20 different methods in order to determine the best initial points. The desired outcome is to find the global minimum of the functions, and I will need both the number of iterations and the time taken to achieve this. I will provide Matlab coding for the test function and the main file. I need your help to meet my requirements and link with Excel.
Key project details and requirements:
- You'll be working with 80 test functions with various initial points and dimensions, and a total of 800 runs for each method. (The main file is provided by me)
- Your work will involve programming in Matlab, which is a NON-NEGOTIABLE requirement.
- You are expected to help establish a link between Matlab and Excel in order to record and analyze the data.
- You're needed to help me to make automatic run for each function, I just need to run 80 times instead of 800 times. Means that, after Function A finished the run using Dimension A and Point A, then the outcome is automatically recorded in the Excel and automatically proceed with the Function A with Dimension A and Point B. After all combination of Point A and Dimension A for Function A are done, then I need to run for Function B with the same procedure.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in Matlab and algorithm design
- Experience in optimization and algorithm analysis
- Ability to work with large data sets and link them with Excel
- Excellent understanding of mathematical functions and global optimization techniques
