Job ID: 36700843

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

Mechanics of Materials: Introduction to computational modeling.
This is a 3 session exercise in which I will require a detailed explanation from an expert in the field who is also good with advanced Matlab programming.

Session 1 – Linear Problems & Fundamentals of the FE Method

Session 2 – Heterogeneous materials
2a: applying representative volume element (RVE)

Session 3 – A (small) set of examples of nonlinear problems
3a: geometrical effect
3b: Plasticity around a hole – Stress redistributions
3c: Simulation of an extrusion process

You will need to read the notes and instructions in word and pdf format.

Prerequisite: Very good programming skills and usage of Matlab
Proper understanding of computational modeling
Preferred background in either applied mathematics, Mechanical, Civil or structural engineering background.

Matlab codes should have a comment explaining each line of code to enable me to understand
The final report entails answering the questions in each of the folders and explaining the steps that was taken, plotting any necessary graphs, and explaining the approach used.
It should be in word format
