MATLAB- centreline of race track

Hi, i have the coordinates for inner and outer boundary’s of a race track. I need to use an algorithm/code which will give me the centreline of the track. After finding the centreline these coordinates need to be implemented into IPG Carmaker software to show a simulation of the vehicle following these points.
