MATLAB Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm Comparison
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm looking for a capable MATLAB developer to conduct a comprehensive comparison of the Vector Field Histogram (VFH), Tangent Bug, and another method in terms of their effectiveness in obstacle avoidance. The project will take place in a simulated environment, featuring both convex and non-convex obstacles.
These are the core aspects of the project:
- Implementing and animating all three obstacle avoidance algorithms.
- All algorithms should start from the same point with the same goal.
- The chosen algorithms will navigate a static, obstacle-filled simulated environment.
- Comparison of the effectiveness of these three algorithms in avoiding obstacles.
Desired freelancer skills include a strong command of MATLAB, experience in animation, firm familiarity with VFH and Tangent Bug algorithms, and a keen understanding of algorithm analysis. It would be a bonus if you have prior experience with obstacle avoidance simulation projects.
