Project Scope:
Task 1:

Design a speed control system for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM).

The design should include:

Current loop controller

Speed loop controller

Verify tracking performance and disturbance rejection using MATLAB simulations.

Task 2:

Choose one motor from the following as the controlled object:

Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM)

Linear Motor

Brushless DC Motor (BLDC)

Stepper Motor

Design a dual-loop (current + speed) control system for the selected motor.

You are free to choose a different control strategy from Task 1.

Verify performance using MATLAB.

Requirements:
Strong background in electric motor control.

Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for control system modeling.

Solid understanding of dual-loop control architecture.
Timeline:
