I need a literature review on fracture mechanics and state of the art in digital volume correlation (DVC)

Key tasks:
1. Literature review on fracture mechanics and state of the art in DVC;
2. Review of the image processing tools used with DVC;
3. Develop the MATLAB code for mapping of the DVC output into the regular FEM models prepared for fracture toughness analysis;
4. Conduct the FEM analysis by using the direct displacement field measurements;
5. Validate the simulation results against the analytical solutions or existing fracture mechanics theories;
