Help writing code to analyse vector data with MATLAB
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have large datasets of surface strain data exported from a Digital Image Correlation software. This dataset includes point locations and, major/minor strain directions and magnitudes of these points at every stage of the deformation - all this data is in a global coordinate system.
I need a code that performs principal strain analysis locally for each point (create a local coordinate system for each point, transforms the principal strain vectors into the local coordinate system, throughout all stages; filters out noise and plots average local principal strain directions.
I will provide a detailed description with visual references and a small input sample dataset.
I have a MATLAB code that works, but there are indications that it has an error, which we are not able to find.
Deliverables
Optimised code that performs the necessary data analysis and outputs plots and an Excel file.
