Harmonic analysis for high speed rail installation at 132kV

The problem that we have are the issue that we have is how the impact before and after installing the THD for highspeed rail installation at 132 kV because if we install the lower of THD it may make the power factor and efficiency higher and the peak current lower. THD, as we know, is a measurement of how much the voltage or current waveform is "distorted" or modified from its usual sine wave shape. The utility provides power in the form of a pure sine wave. The voltage and current are used at varying rates as it passes through different types of loads, causing distortion to be reflected back from the load onto the system.
The objective of this project:
1) To develop a simulation model to represent the AC electric traction systems at 132 kV.
2) To simulate the model by using MATLAB Simulink software.
3) To analyse the harmonic contents of the system and compare they’re with the current standard.
The project is limited to the following the scope:
1. The impact of THD on a high-speed rail at 132 kV.
2. The parameter to be examined on this project for the THD level at high-speed rail at 132 kV.
3. The power quality will be look about the voltage step change, voltage fluctuation flicker, harmonic distortion, voltage unbalance and voltage sag.
