1. To design optimal damped single tuned passive filter using cuckoo search algorithm.
2. To determine the optimal values of damped single tuned filter based on the objective functions while satisfying all the implied constraints.
3. To evaluate the efficiency and demonstrate the significant contribution of cuckoo search algorithm to other published technique (MIDACO).
