Estimation of water Volume Water Body via statellite imagery Detection via public available dataset
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I'm in need of a water body detection and analysis project focused on lakes and reservoirs. The project consists of two milestones:
IMP NOTE:-
1. You have to use publically available dataset like Sentinel-2 and landsat-8 dataset or any other publically available dataset (do not ask for dataset as it is readly available online)
2. Only those how have worked on satellite imagery project only should bid
milestone 1. Report on Water Body Detection: Using YOLOv8 Nano(mandatory), I need a comprehensive report that shows over 90% mean Average Precision (mAP) for detecting lakes and reservoirs. This report should include all datasets used, as well as thorough analysis within the report.
milestone 2. Volume Estimation & Temporal Analysis: I need an estimation of the volume of the detected bodies and a temporal analysis of water levels from the year 2000 onwards.
Ideal candidates for this project should have:
- Proficiency in using YOLOv8 Nano for object detection
- Strong understanding of water body volume estimation techniques
- Experience with temporal analysis of datasets
- Familiarity with working with satellite imagery
- Ability to provide comprehensive reports
