Enhancing Flight and Driving Simulation Models with MATLAB
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
For Task 1, the project will focus on analyzing flight simulator data using MATLAB to compute metrics that quantify pilot control behaviors during different landing phases, contributing insights into enhancing fly-by-wire systems. In Task 4, MATLAB will be employed to simulate driver responses in automated vehicle scenarios, particularly modeling how drivers might react during rear-end collisions. This simulation will help in assessing the impact of various time gaps on collision avoidance, providing valuable data for improving automated vehicle design and safety protocols.
