Digital Signal Processing
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Title: MATLAB DSP sound effects.
You will need to build an equalizer toolbox to help users design, and test filters.
You are expected to use the minimum number of built-in functions in MATLAB.
The required implementation uses offline processing, but real-time implementation and some extra
effects.
Requirements:
The user interface should have 3 panels:
a. Control: including “load audio”, “save” and two “play” buttons for pre- and postprocessed
audio.
b. Edit: including 7 slide bars from -20 to +20 dB, “echo” button and “frequency shift”
button.
One slide bar for volume and 6 slide bars for frequency band gains of 0-80Hz, 80-200Hz, 200-1KHz, 1-3KHz, 3-8KHz, 8-12KHz ranges.
You should have two additional effect buttons as “phasor” and “flanger”.
c. Figures: including 4 figures, time-domain and frequency-domain of pre- and postprocessed
signal.
