Deep Learning Plant Disease Identifier

In the heart of this project is the concept of plant disease identification using various advanced image processing techniques, specifically through deep learning. My key focus will be on Sunflower, Rice Maize, Potato and Banana diseases (flower, crop, vegetable and fruit)
- Area of focus:
The system to be developed is expected to classify and recognize three categories of plant diseases which include: fungal infections, bacterial diseases and viral diseases.
- Technical Requirements:
Implement deep learning for image processing, primarily via Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). A strong understanding and practical experience with CNN are paramount for this task.
- Desired skills:
Experts in deep learning with a focus on CNN are ideal for this project. Previous experience with image classification projects particularly in the field of agritech or botany, will be an added advantage. Comprehension of dataset handling, training and testing of neural networks is essential.
