CMG STARS Simulation for Master’s Thesis – Nanopolymer Injection in Fractured Reservoir

I am currently working on my master’s thesis in petroleum engineering, focusing on nanopolymer flooding in fractured reservoirs using CMG STARS. I’m seeking an experienced reservoir simulation expert who can support with one or more of the following tasks:Key Tasks: • Setting up and running CMG STARS models • Working with Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) or dual porosity/dual permeability settings • Applying scaling techniques (RL, RL², RV) to upscale a core-scale simulation to field-scale • Editing .dat files, Builder files, and adjusting injection/production parameters • Understanding and analyzing outputs (e.g., breakthrough time, residual oil saturation, recovery factor) • Possibly assisting with exporting data for use in MATLAB machine learning models
