Audio/DSP Engineer for Complex Audio Data Processing

My requirement is quite specific as it involves a unique juxtaposition of sports science, equine health, and sound engineering. What I'm after is digital signal processing (DSP)/audio analytics from a contact microphone, to detect the heart rate signature initially, and respiration rate in horses in resting postion and active environments.

- High precision audio analysis: The chosen methodology for this detection should be strictly based on audio analysis. It's crucial that the freelancer has a solid background in DSP, auditory biology, or a related field, and is able to extract subtle cues from the audio data to reliably gauge a horse's vital signs. Knowledge of equine heart rates and respiration patterns is a definite advantage.

Ideal candidate should have experience in DSP/audio analytics, understanding of equine physiology.The perfect blend of these skills will help in precisely determining heart rate and respiration in horses from the auditory data and using the gathered data for long-term analysis.
