Seeking a part-time virtual teaching assistant (Math)
Budget: $5 – $9 USD
We are seeking a virtual teaching assistant who is committed to their personal and intellectual growth to help support teachers in their work and support students in their learning.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
◘Experience as a Teacher Assistant
◘Familiarity with school administrative tasks and learning methods
◘Great communication and organizational skills
◘Cool-tempered and positive attitude
◘Firm but kind personality
◘A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents
◘College or associate’s degree is preferred
◘Teaching Certificate and/or Degree will be a plus
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
◘Assisting teachers with research and math lesson design
◘Managing independent assignments with students
◘Creating student learning plans
◘Assessing student work

◘Makes independent decisions to select processes and tools.
