Primary School Maths Extension Tutor
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am seeking a tutor for my 11 year old son, who is currently in Grade 6. We want someone who can create a program of learning that will build on the current year 6 curriculum, extending his learning, problem solving and critical thinking skills in maths. He enjoys maths, but he’s getting a bit bored in class. We hope this tutor will help build on his natural ability and make the most of his strengths in maths. He’s not a genius or anything, but he does like numbers.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong background in primary school and early high school mathematics.
- Experience with teaching or tutoring young children - especially kids who are easily distracted.
- Patience and ability to adapt to a child's learning pace.
- Ability to create worksheets or design a learning program.
We live in Rochedale, and ideally we would have someone come to our house one afternoon after school to tutor our son for one hour per week.
